Use Mark present for a student who is in class but can't scan (no phone or flat battery). Marked students show “by lecturer” in the register and the CSV.
Students see it in their SmartClass app and get a phone notification.
Students who told you in advance they will miss your lessons (next 14 days).
Below 75% term attendance in your modules, so they may not be eligible for CDACC assessment. Send a reminder while they can still recover.
For a student who forgot their PIN. Check their student ID first. They will create a new PIN at their next login.
The lecturer then creates a new PIN with the staff password at their next login.
